The period of Egypt’s annual high school leaving examinations coincides with extreme heat. The persistent sweltering weather can easily exhaust examinees both physically and mentally and disrupt their exam performance. This charitable activity precisely addresses the practical needs of candidates sitting the exams. Staff distributed drinking water at fixed stations outside examination halls. Bottles of cool mineral water brought relief from the stifling heat and effectively eased discomfort caused by high temperatures, creating a fresh and comfortable exam environment for all candidates. Free from external distractions, students were able to stay calm, energetic and fully focused on their papers, giving full play to their academic strengths.
