On August 31, Handa Industries Myanmar Garment Division and Haishibo Power Technology Co., Ltd. held a grand signing ceremony for the photovoltaic project at Htunmo Factory in Myanmar, marking the official entry into the construction phase of Handa’s secondphase photovoltaic power station in Myanmar.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Luo Muzhen, Deputy General Manager of Handa Industries Myanmar Garment Division, first delivered a detailed presentation covering the project background, strategic significance and prospects for future cooperation. Afterwards, witnessed by all attending guests, Mr. Tao Hongfu, General Manager of Handa Industries Myanmar Garment Division, and Mr. Deng Dejiang, Chairman of Haishibo Power Technology Co., Ltd., signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective parties. The event concluded in a warm atmosphere with strong consensus reached on this partnership.
The firstphase photovoltaic project at Handa’s No.2 Myanmar Factory was successfully connected to the power grid and put into operation at the end of April this year. After nearly four months of stable operation, it has delivered remarkable results in energy conservation and cost reduction, accumulating valuable technical and operationmaintenance experience for the rapid advancement of this new project.

In his speech, General Manager Tao Hongfu stated that the smooth implementation of the new project would not have been possible without the strong support from all supplier partners and the close collaboration of multiple departments including Procurement, Engineering and Operations. He specially pointed out that Myanmar’s rainy season is drawing to an end, and the next twomonth period represents a prime construction window. He urged the team to go all out to accelerate the construction schedule while strictly observing safety and quality standards, and strive to achieve gridconnection within two months. “Time is pressing and the task is arduous. I am confident that this resilient and highperforming team will deliver satisfactory results.”

Mr. Deng Dejiang, Chairman of the powersupply company, responded that his company will give full play to its professional and technical strengths, strictly control engineering standards, push forward project construction efficiently, and ensure highquality gridconnected power generation on schedule.
Mr. Ma Songjiang, VicePresident of Handa Industries, extended his warm congratulations on the successful signing. He pointed out that from the smooth commissioning of the firstphase project at Factory 1 to the official launch of the project at Factory 5, Handa’s strategic layout of green energy in Myanmar is steadily moving deeper. He expects both teams to work in close collaboration, build on efficient execution and trustworthy cooperation, and turn this project into a new benchmark for green energy in Myanmar.

Witnessed by all guests present, the signing ceremony came to a successful conclusion. Going forward, both parties will forge ahead handinhand and make every effort to accelerate the construction and gridconnection of the project. It will deliver a steady stream of clean energy to fuel the green and lowcarbon transformation of Handa’s Myanmar factories, as well as contribute corporate strength to regional sustainable development.
