Handa Enterprises Holds July 1 Themed Party Day Activity at Rong Yiren Memorial Hall
To carry forward the red legacy, strengthen Party members’ Party spirit and rally the enterprise’s driving force for progress, Handa Industries organized its Party members to visit the Rong Yiren Memorial Hall for a themed Party Day study activity on July 4, immersively experiencing the predecessors’ devotion to the country and their original aspiration and sense of responsibility.
Rong Yiren Memorial Hall, a Jiangsu Provincial Base for Integrity Education, Party History Education and Wuxi Municipal Patriotic Education Base, is located in the Rongxiang Historical and Cultural Block of Binhu District. It consists of four parts: the Exhibition Hall of Rong Yiren’s Life Stories, the Former Residence of the Rong Family, the Dagu Library and the Replica of Rong Yiren’s Former Residence in Beijing. Drawing on precious archives, documents, cultural relics and digital exhibition technologies, the hall comprehensively presents Rong Yiren’s brilliant life of dedicating himself to the Party, the country and industrial development.
The event was well-organized with a rich learning atmosphere. All Party members first visited the exhibition hall dedicated to the deeds of Rong Yiren. Through historical texts, pictures, physical exhibits and multimedia displays, they gained a systematic understanding of the development of the Rong family and an in-depth insight into Mr. Rong Yiren’s remarkable contributions to national development and the advancement of reform and opening up. Afterwards, the group toured the former residence of Rong Desheng (Chengde Hall), a provincial-level cultural relic protection site. They closely studied the century-old family precepts of the Rong clan and appreciated the profound essence of fine family traditions and devotion to the country.
Immediately afterwards, the Party members visited Dagong Library, first built in 1915. As a well-known early rural library in China, its integrated Chinese-Western architectural style and profound scholarly heritage allowed everyone to truly perceive the original aspiration of modern industrialists to advocate culture and value education. In the final leg of the tour, the group visited the fully reconstructed former Beijing residence of Rong Yiren. Through immersive virtual scenes, they glimpsed fragments of the elder statesman’s daily life and drew inspiration from his noble moral character. At the end of the activity, all Party members solemnly revisited the Party admission oath. The resounding pledges strengthened their original aspiration and mission. The group took a collective photo to preserve this memorable moment of red-themed study and research.
This immersive red study tour served as a soul-stirring Party history education and a spiritual baptism for tempering the original aspiration and fostering a sense of responsibility among Party members. Carrying forward the torch to uphold our founding mission, we forge ahead courageously to embark on a new journey. Going forward, all Party members of Handa Industries will thoroughly study and inherit Mr. Rong Yiren’s noble spirit of loving the motherland through industrial development and serving the country with down-to-earth efforts. They will translate the red strength and driving momentum gained from this study tour into concrete actions for fulfilling duties and overcoming difficulties. Staying true to the original aspiration and mission, stepping forward with courage and responsibility, they will fuel the high-quality development of the enterprise with solid work and tangible achievements.
