The First Skill Contest of Handa Egypt Plant successfully concluded
In order to adapt the requirement of corporate development and enhance operational skills of employees, Handa Egypt Plant held the first skill contest on Dec. 20th ,2020. to create an opportunity of mutual learning as well as communication, and a platform of self-expression. Most attending employees performed their high ability of team-working, irritating their competitive consciousness.
Beginning from 8:30, the contest totally contained 28 sewing groups with 5 members in each group. During the contest, these competitors had to sew a garment in the same style and the finished garments were graded by accordingly.
It is the first time for our Egyptian workers to participate such activity. Even every one was intense and exciting, they still put full attention to finish their works in high spirits.
The grading scores are defined to four aspects, which includes speed, quality, safety and 6S. After rigorously scoring, the first, second and third prizes were awarded and their winners were also rewarded the corresponding cash bonus.
Mrs. Yan, V.P. of Handa Industries, addressed a conclusive speech. She said that the result of this contest was far beyond her expectation, which deserved a great congratulation. This skill contest is leading high enthusiasm of all workers to learn and improve their skills, and further motivating job responsibility and daring to challenge . We are looking forward to a much higher level in next skill contest.
