Handa enterprises and Egyptian cotton textile industry holding company formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement

On November 16, with the full support of the Minister of Public Business Sector Mr. Hesham Tawfik and the Head of ministry of Commerce and Industry Mr. Ashraf El Rabiey, Handa Enterprise signed the first phase cooperation agreement with Egypt Cotton Textile Industry Holding Company in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

From the date of signing the agreement, 35000 square meters of land with factory building owned by Egypt Cotton Textile Holding Company located in Bilbes will be provided to Handa Enterprises as the first phase of plant for Handa Egypt garment factory.

After the signing ceremony, a press conference was held on the spot, which included the most top Egyptian media including TV stations and newspapers, and Chairman Han Chun answered the questions of various journalists on the spot.

Same night, Egyptian state television reported on the event in a special news program, and local newspapers also reported on the event in the main page the next day.

The signing of this cooperation agreement marks the successful achievement of another strategic goal of Handa Enterprises. From now on, Handa officially settles in Africa and open a new development mileage. This is another solid step in overseas investment strategy of Handa enterprises after the opening of Myanmar's third factory in October.
