The First Overseas Subsidiary Social Responsibility Report Released by Handa Enterprise

The overseas subsidiary of Handa Enterprise - Handa (Yangon) Garment Co.,Ltd recently published its very first social responsibility report. It is the first time that Handa Enterprise published a social responsibility report for its overseas subsidiary, meanwhile it's also the  first overseas Chinese-funded corporate social responsibility report published in China textile industry.

The report is published in English, Burmese and Chinese according to the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 of the United Nations. It is a comprehensive demonstration of the practice and effectiveness of Handa (Yangon) Garment Co., Ltd. in fulfilling its economic, social and environmental responsibilities in overseas operations.

The report consists of eight main chapters: Setting Goals, Steady Operation, Supply Chain Responsibility, Environmental Protection, Employee Rights, Repaying Society, Prospects and Outlooks which were shown with words and photos. It reflects the overall development of Handa (Yangon) Garment Co., Ltd. and its performance of social responsibility.

A great company must be a socially responsible company. From its establishment in Myanmar in 2014, Handa (Yangon) Garment Co., Ltd. has gradually integrated itself with the local society, environment, humanities and expectations, and the company has also achieved good development.In the future, Handa (Yangon) will continue to reinforce social responsibility into daily management, improve the business environment, protect employees' rights and interests, improve environmental protection capabilities, and strive to develop itself into an excellent company that has both strength and reputation to create economic benefits and social value.
